I finally got the deal. It took opening another Samsung account. I got the $50 first timer discount AND I was finally able to use a referral code. After going through this headache, I believe that the referral code is indeed only for first time customers.

Hopefully I won't have any issues using the phone on my preexisting Samsung account because I sure as heck don't want to different accounts running on my various Samsung devices.

Anyone have thoughts/ feedback on upgrading my s21 ultra to s24 Plus? I don't like the square design of the new ultras so I have kept my older phone. They are offering me $600 TIV so my net is coming to about $341 plus taxes on a s24 Plus.
