It's IPX4 bulletproof - if you lightly toss a handfull of bullets at it with your hand, they will bounce off.

This backpack does not protect against submersion however.

2 pics under this description it shows a guy swimming up to a boat.

I was looking at this back in June but didnt want to spend that much so i got the Pelican version for $40 at the time

This is listed on am amazon for 44% discount for 69.99. It's discontinued hence the great price. It has 4.8 stars with only 11 reviews. I've been looking for a sale so I'm in for two of these. Thanks!

This looks a lot nicer than it should at $40. No way it's waterproof. That trick, unfortunately, requires expensive raw materials and zippers. That's why SealLine and Pelican bags can command $300. This does look like it's more than enough water resistant for a commute. Probably not up to a canoe trip.

The bag looks exactly like my Ogio All Elements and I've seen this in store before. Its basically a dry bag and is worth if you really need it to be waterproof, but its not the best as far as organization.

This is not submersible, therefore not actually water proof. It's splash proof, though.

When I expect a chance of my bag getting wet, I just line it with a kitchen trash bag. Does look pretty cool though.
