Kinda. They did combine 1-3 into 'World of Assassination' however Part 1 is basically like a paid demo....but includes all of Hitman 1 for just $3. I guess they figure that price is easier to stomach for people who may want to try Hitman but not pay full price for a crapload of content they might not like. Once you buy the upgrade to the full WoA it includes the rest of the content outside of Part 1. I do not believe there is a way to buy Hitman 2 or 3 as it stands currently.

Also I think anyone who owned 1-3 before the WoA became a thing got a free upgrade to WoA.

*That is my understanding at least but I am 99% sure I am right

PSA - don't get this. I purchased it last time thinking it was base Hitman 3 ~ it is just Hitman 1. The only upgrade path to get 3/all games is HITMAN World of Assassination Upgrade Pack, which hasn't been on sale since June.

so let me get this straight... the changed the name of the games from hitman 1, 2, and 3 respectively, to hitman world of assassination to consolidate the three parts into one main package... and now, they're selling it in 3 parts?

why?

just wait for a cd key for world of assassination. i got that on sale for like $15 which includes 1-3 but not the DLC. which is kinda lame. but i like the hitman games and i beat it multiple times. it has a lot of replayability once you figure out you can do missions a ton of diff ways. just sucks they decided to go the multiple DLC route.

They wanted to make it confusing, while also making people think the base was a newer game?

It is entirely and unnecessarily confusing, and seems to be intentionally so. WooHoo replied with the helpful chart, but it really is crazy that you should need a chart to have any idea of what you are actually buying.

This version does not include the VR mode, although the store listing says it's supported. You have to buy the Standard Edition to play the entire WoA in VR

Thanks for the heads up, that's the only one I want. This would've been great if they consolidated everything from the very beginning but instead made people pay out individually when they originally released. I think they knew no one would want to buy their old content
