I'm not 100% sure, but I found this on Microsoft Support which seems like its possible Switch to a Microsoft 365 for business subscription - Microsoft Support [microsoft.com]
You can reach out to Microsoft Support Chat for confirmation.

Received the ESET key in about 2 hours.
Received the Microsoft 365 key in about 21 hours (almost a full day).
I was able to extend my Microsoft 365 Family subscription by 9 months. I had to turn on auto-renew in the settings before Microsoft 365 would give me the option of extending my family membership. I read in another thread that the person had to deactivate auto-renewal before it worked. So try both if it isn't working for you.

@bpm3k found they had to turn on recurring billing--aka auto-renewal--to get the pro-rated redemption. Because I have redeemed prepaid yearly keys before, auto-renewal can never be turned back on. So apparently we are hosed on the Microsoft key.
I can't return it, if someone wants the 15-month M365 Personal key for 1/2 the cost of the Nord bundle, shoot me a message.

This is the way to do it:
Go to your your MS Account, under subscriptions you will see : Turn on Recurring Billing?
Click on View Subscriptions
Click on Manage
Click on Redeem Code
Put in the code, it wil recognize it but not give you the pro-rated option
Click Redeem button
You will get a couple of prompts to activate recurring billing / auto renew / adding a payment method etc. ignore them
Now at the final stage you will see the whole message about 9 months prorated displayed
Click and your extension will be processed for 9 months.
I have heard that 15 Month also is 9 months and 12 month is also 9 months.
I did this 2-3 months back, added ~3 years to my subscription.
If you still don't want your O365, let me know, I will take it.
Hope this helps...
