Today I received a targeted offer in the Amazon app for a $5 Amazon credit in exchange for adding a backup credit card to my Amazon account. I added one of my CCs to my account and upon doing so, received the credit. Based on the T&Cs, credit must be used within 30 days.

The targeted offer appeared at the top of the app when I opened it. YMMV, but wanted the community to know.
