This is OEM though right? I bought a generic one from ebay. Only used it once. I hate how these adapters always require you to turn the volume alll the way up. If you lose connection, everyone is gonna hear what you were listening to.

Lightning is being deprecated but the DAC inside is pretty good actually and it's worth it.

Comes in Apple packaging. Should be able to readily tell if not legit.

But looking at the listing there are actually no third party sellers for this item, so no risk of counterfeit product mingling by sellers other than Amazon.
