If there are exposed serial numbers, then yes, return the opened one instead... it's not fraud. It's an attempt to be kind and not return an opened product.

I had already installed. It is what it is. I needed two more anyway so it still saved me $200. And, yes, items like this they do check serial numbers. I spend a lot on Amazon (work and home) and would prefer not to have them flag my account. Besides, they don't take these back due to the batteries. There has to be something wrong with them. They have always treated me fair on the items that are not returnable that are truly damaged. Don't feel $100 is worth damaging that ability to solve a real issue.

I've had good success in getting a price match from bluetti by writing them directly on t he amazon message board. I've also done this with other products where amazon refused to price match yet then the seller would to prevent the cost of a return and rebuy. Worth a try.

I'm hoping this will go back to $499.00 on prime day. It would be stellar if we could find a coupon we could stack as well. I bought one last prime day and it seems to be the best bang for the buck these days.
