They are spiteful and don't want to pay the company that owns the patent so they turned off the feature. Remember if it doesn't make money for them, they don't want it.

Yeah I'm good. Still very happy with my stainless steel series 8 for 199 from last week. Slightly bigger screens isn't worth sacrificing the blood Ox sensor or paying more.

I'm getting an offer for $165 for my Apple Watch Series 7 (45mm), which is $60 more than what Apple is offering. I think I'll go this route.

Weirdly, If you select the GPS only version you'll see the $300 trade-in but if you choose the GPS/Cellular Version you only get $180. I guess I'll keep my Series 9. I wasn't unhappy with it anyway but a $100 upgrade would've been a good deal.

I've traded in several watches and only ever had to provide the watch itself. No bands or chargers needed.
