I had a Gerber knife whenever I got my first knife, kept it for years. It didn't break for a long time, and then I got a multi-tool by them and it broke before I used it one time. And then the next time I got a more expensive multi-tool by them, it broke before I could use it one time. I don't think I would ever buy a multi-tool by them again.

Anecdotal of course but their multi tools suck ass in my opinion. If you actually need to apply a decent amount of force this thing will break under pressure
