Thanks! Good deal. Got one at my store for $14. Seems to be in stock at only certain stores. Several other multimeters on clearance but all taken, except for 4 of this one and a clamping one.

There was a bunch of closeout commercial electric stuff when I checked a few weeks ago. GFCI outlet tester $5.54. 3 piece technician kit $17.00.

Dang I bought the last one a few days ago at $27 wonder if it would have dropped. You can get cheaper on Amazon but quality seems sketchy

Was able to get one at another home Depot for $14. It's a little buggy sometimes the dial doesn't go to the right mode and you have to turn it off and back on. Some of the reviews complain about the same thing. It's good enough for me.

Jokes on you. It's a 40-gorilla Michael Jackson tribute dance troupe - just one glove each.

Why would you assume that the 20 gorillas were owned by anybody. Why are these gorillas meeting to distribute gloves to each other. That's what I want to know.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank TealIdea227

Using these for capacitance tests will definitely tell you that a dead capacitor is dead, but if you want to be a little more ambitious in your preventative maintenance in the future, I would aspire to check capacitance under load:

and you will need a clamp meter for that.

Well scsiguru, if that is your real name, it depends on if you can use chopsticks to hold a penny.

why bother, just buy one from Temu. good for most home use case
My friend got a stapler from there instead of local HW store like I suggested to save $5. It made 10 shots before breaking down but to each its own.
