300w is low for desktop computers with big monitors. Conventional UPS usually support 1kw and above at this price range.

Maybe this is ok for small Walmart routers, NVRs etc.

True, but most people probably aren't using a UPS to run a large monitor or gaming rig when the power goes out. Assuming your power consumption is below 300w, this unit has more than double the battery capacity of an equivalently priced traditional UPS, with the added advantage of 5-10x battery longevity of LiFePO4 as compared to lead acid.

I have semi frequent power outages, sometimes just very brief power blips. It is annoying when the internet takes several minutes to reboot after this happens.

Would this be good for keeping my modem, router and wifi equipment going?

I think these models are getting cheap because they have just 1 usb c port. Nobody really is using usb a for much these days.

FWIW this unit is brand new, but I agree if you want more 100W USB C ports you're going to have to spend for a more substantial unit.
