I have these and the XM5s and while these are great, the XM5s are better in virtually every ways except for:

1. Comfort (these are less warm and cup over your ears better)
2. iOS App. Holy god Sony's app is absolute flaming trash. Bose's app is gorgeous.

I have these and the XM5s and while these are great, the XM5s are better in virtually every ways except for:

1. Comfort (these are less warm and cup over your ears better)
2. iOS App. Holy god Sony's app is absolute flaming trash. Bose's app is gorgeous.

I don't think you can get student on refurbished products. I just verified through id.me and got an error. Had a chat with a rep and that's what they said.
She did say new customer discount of 10% does work on refurbished products, up to $20.

Xm5 is too huge on my head… just looked weird walking around airport

In between these or XM4

What's your thoughts on that comparison?

It's a throw up. They both sound exceptionally good but I prefer the XM5s over the Ultras for sound quality.

I just bought my refurbished using student beans code. It dropped to $253 with tax and everything.

I mean it's going to be the same as getting new but I actually prefer refurb over new because I feel like most refurbs are going to get double checked before they are sold.

Great headphones. Got it for 250 in Walmart sale last year (Most probably a pricing glitch). I guess these will be on sale for 250-300 this holiday say, so I don't think this is a great deal per se.

Bought these last time they went on sale. Don't regret one purchase one bit. Feels like cloud on my ears and it comes with a semi hard case perfect for traveling.

I have these and I quite like them. The ear pads are pretty bad quality though. Mine just started falling apart after relatively light to moderate use
