Is 250-nits good? I guess that's most common display. Hoping to get deal on laptops with 300-350 nits.

i'll be the first person to say i use my pc on 0% brightness and contrast and my room lets some light in, i never cared for brightness levels and if you really must have your laptop outside 500 nits sounds like an okay amount to make it usable.
however if you create photos and videos the 45% ntsc is bad.

edit: i feel sensitive to bright lights and thats why i use dim screens.

Many manufacturers use this 250 nits, 45% ntsc display and although usable, is a really dim and non-poping display. I wouldn't want one.

Garbage display. Would ruin the experience.
