I did look at other carriers which have the "iPhone on us" deals but they are all like twice the price for unlimited. I'm paying $100/month for four lines for unlimited basic with XM but T-Mobile was $225. No thanks.
Anyone advise on what is best carrier to port couple of months?
Also anyone knows how long being out of network counts as new customer.
Thanks,

I could still see full discount being applied. Is it not similar to upgrade?
Any insight anyone??
UPDATE: I tried to go through with it... when i tried to continue.. it identified as upgrade and removed discount.
2023 iphone 11 gave you $700
2024 iphone 12 only gives you $525
Plus there was a bonus $100 if you switched over from another carrier

Thanks , i was not referring to this offer.
may be iPhone 17.
Not sure if too much of an upgrade for 14 vs 16.
This is risky, but was thinking of porting a line in as unlimited and then changing the plan to pay by gb
after the first month's device credit begins.
Xfinity is a hot mess but sometimes their errors work in your favor, on one phone they forgot the billing credit for 2 months and when I called in to complain - they accidentally doubled my device credit for the remainder of the contract instead of just 2 months.

Small print says must 'maintain the line', which I assume means you have to keep Unltd. Plus, but it doesn't specifically say that. Not sure I want to take the risk.+
