No they shouldn't. Just because you can't take advantage doesn't mean that they should be banned.

I can't take advantage of any Micro Center deals. I don't whine about banning the posts.

Good luck to those that can get this fan. Installed this in my laundry room and it works great.

electrician here. I only buy these for installations. I buy from local supply for 100 cash. Great deal at this price. but anything for new construction or with permit gotta use with a humidity sensor. it's code in california, or at least in Los angeles.

Is this easy to replace without attic access?
Literally just replaced my tiny bathroom fan with this one. You don't have to have attic access even if you need to cut a bigger hole

Great price but 'whisper' is very much an exaggeration, they move air but my god they're loud, first night after i installed it, it kicked on in the middle of the night and woke us up. They're quieter than many other builder grade products but not quiet by any means. I thought it being loud was a fluke so i returned it and bought two more to try, they were each the same volume-loud.
they are quiet. change the cfm setting to lower. or you have something stuck in the duct or not installed correctly

Does the humidity sensor make it turn on automatically?

Quiet fart fans are not good! I thought it would be nice to get a quiet one... Because of marketing. Well it's not! I don't want people to hear my shit sprays, farts, and turds nugs hitting the water. Get the cheapest loudest fan possible.

Remodel all my bathrooms and bought the Panasonic fans per recommendation. They are so quiet I don't even know if they are on.

I'm not sure quiet fans are a good thing. Apart from the aforementioned need to cover up your farts/blowouts, I've left my quiet fan on all day without realizing it.

LMAO at those who seem to think a noisy fan over their head in a closed room somehow alters the sound people hear from outside that room. News flash: no one's hearing the fan but you. The other noise, however.... 😂

Are these pretty universal if you have a bathroom that was remodeled in 90s or 2000s or do I need to measure before picking up?
Measure...
2 measurements you'll need are the outside dimensions of current fan and the exhaust sizing.
Good to know what the exit size at roof is too, my original fans were smaller sized but had an adapter for the bigger tube and the new fans hooked straight to the larger tube

My store has it on clearance from $169 to $160. Now that's a clearance! Does anyone know if price will keep getting reduced?
