Also, the locking flex-head version is at an all time low too, and only $3 more than the normal flex-head.

The 84-tooth Gearwrench ratchets has been vascillating in and out of sales in recent weeks, be sure to check out other ones too. I just got the 11" long 3/8" rachet for $20.

Locking head is not a deal breaker for me. I'm a full time mechanic and I've never used locking heads, they are more annoying than they are helpful. Don't let that stop you from this deal.

WARNING:
CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.

Huh? This is a 1-piece tool that is 17" long and has no separate small parts that could be ingested?
It can't be a choking hazard, just like a golf club can't be a choking hazard as they are similar dimensions lol!

I guess the only way a child could choke on a small part would be if they are admitting that this is so poorly built that random parts such as the selector switches regularly fall off of it at such a high rate that they have to mention it in the warnings, right?

The 1/4 and 3/8 set of locking flex heads are $36 if you don't need them right away. Saves you around $8 from purchased separately.

Bought these earlier. I can't see a niche for this 1/2" in my use cases. I can make a ratchet longer but not shorter.

It's like when the most random things come with California Prop-65 warnings. At some point, it's just easier to include them.

How does the head size of these 84 tooth ratchets compare to the head size of 120xp GearWrench ratchets? I like my 120xp but the 1/2 drive one has pretty big head size and I cannot get into tighter spots with it. My old Craftsman 1/2 flex head can, because it has a smaller head.
