A couple of questions I'd like to have sorted before pulling the trigger on a new gaming rig.

LGA1700 a dead end?
What's going with the 24H2 Windows 11 update? Will it boost AMD performance significantly as some testers/reviewers have indicated?

Noob question. Are the Intel stability issues going to give a problem to a casual gamer?
It's a problem for everyone. Not sure why people are getting down voted for the truth. Intel messed up on these chips and supposedly not even a BIOS update will change the outcome.

So many 4070s they're desperate to get rid of. Where are the 4090s?

Yup. It's DDR4 speeds. But this is what you'd be looking at if you custom build it yourself:

Almost 400 difference but this would be with much better parts. You can probably knock off another 200 or so by going with cheaper parts or getting them on sale and another 100 if you get those shady windows keys or run Linux.
I just snagged this one, which seems to be with much better parts, better case, for $1700 and it comes with the free monitor. Amex also has 2% cash back on Newegg, so there's that.

I recommend going with a Ryzen processor regardless. Best case scenario, the Intel chip works but generates a lot more heat and uses more power. It's not efficient, and is an inferior product vs the AMD line.

2900 base price for this build is hilarious. You could get a 4090 for that much

The RAM in this seems pretty slow, but will it really make much of a difference? Seems like a really good deal given the 4070 Ti Super
I thought the slowest DDR4 RAM was like 4800MHz, maybe it was typed in the wrong way by or something by Lenovo, 6000MHz would make much more sense.

This seems like a better deal than the recent $1399 Walmart deal which had a 4070. This is just $200 more and comes with a 4070 Ti Super and you also get decent cb from a secret site which more or less makes up for the $200 difference. However, this comes with a 1TB Nvme compared to a 2TB one in the Walmart PC, and what's up with 4000 MHz RAM?

No, however, you will want to make sure that your BIOS is updated for the latest patch so it won't wear down your CPU.

Not sure about the windows update but this has the best processor (disregarding the issues) that you'll ever be able to install on this motherboard.

You said it's a problem for "everyone", does that mean every single Intel chip manufactured during those generations is faulty? In other words, are these chips pretty much guaranteed to have problems or is it only a small percentage that is affected? How likely is it that someone would encounter zero issues at all, or at least identify the issue during the warranty period?

I know it's trendy to pile on Intel right now, and I get that AMD chips are more power efficient. But if the right Intel prebuild comes along at the right price, I don't necessarily want to dismiss it outright.

Yep. I have a divide by 2 to get the real price. Only fools use the PCpartpicker retort.
