This thing is really dull. You really have to press on it to cut through pizza. Wheel gets stuck easily too. Not a fan.

I've had this in my Amazon cart for the last few months since the last time this went FP and the price never changed. I went to Target to look at this in person and decided to remove it from my Amazon cart because the plastic "chrome" on the handle guard flakes off pretty easily. Looks/feels cheap.

I have this, I like it with a little modification. The main thing is that it's a big wheel, good clearance over big crust. It is butterknife sharp though. I sharpened the entire wheel on a Shapton 220 kuromaku. It now glides through any pizza shapes, but it's also indiscriminate with anything it runs over, so it's kinda scary. In the drawer I keep a drawstring Crown Royal bag over the wheel now. No kids.

I know the ulu is great for hunting/skinning. I imagine they're great for some other kitchen tasks, especially where the curved blade can be used for rocking/chopping. Thanks for the idea. I'm going to look up videos about ulu use in kitchens.
