Haha, most of their models are economically priced, cheaper parts and materials. But they do make superior models nowadays. This one for example is titanium with a Miyota 8215 automatic movement. I've owned one of these for almost a year now and it's become my favorite watch.

$349 on Timex and just about everywhere else.

I am a big fan of the new Timex field watches. I think their dials look nicer than Hamilton Khakis.

The 36mm black dial North Field Post solar is also at the cheapest price I've ever seen it on ebay at the moment, and mine arrived NIB. Solar Seiko movement, 100m WR, sapphire glass, and signed screw-down crown for $67. Arguably a better deal than the automatic titanium model for $211 if you want a smaller watch.

This 41mm solar stainless model at the same reduced price is the most comparable to the 41mm automatic titanium in styling, but I don't recommend this one because the numbers are gunmetal colored and aren't very legible. Obviously it's still an incredible watch at this price for the specs.

Price just went back up to $349 on Amazon. Lowest was $209.51 in case anyone is tracking.

Jomashop is still good for $207.

I would keep an eye on it, some of the upper-model Timex watches have been frequently fluctuating in price lately on amazon.

This is an assumption but i believe:

Amazon doesn't stop sellers from changing their product while keeping the previous versions reviews... So sellers will front load great products, then slowly degrade or change the product down the line until it's not what was originally posted.

That's what you get when you see reviews that aren't on what that product is now.. but what it was before..
