You should probably wait for the 90 days to complete before filing the complaint. Otherwise they can use that as excuse to make you wait.

True. I was saying that I would push it further if they respond saying that I was ineligible for the promo. If they tell me that I will receive the bonus within the 90 day period then I will have to wait, I guess.

I filed a complaint with the cfpb. They sent it to the bank. The bank gave me the bonus. I included a screenshot of the offer when it was posted.

I also received my $500 bonus.

Took about a month after the direct deposit hit the account.

Wtf is with this bank? I opened an account well over a week ago and it won't let me transfer funds into it. Did anyone else have to wait for their debit card? I've tried linking the account via Plaid from my Credit Union and it denies it. I've tried manual verification but nothing gets deposited. When I click the 'Schedule a Transfer' button from my m&t account page, it just says:

You have to wait until you receive the debit card to link outside accounts, be sure you are owner on any linked accounts. I tried to link my spouse account and all hell broke loose and the locked my account for fraud. They will ask security multiple questions every time you call. Know your account debit card number, last deposit, who is the payor of your direct deposit and the last amount paid before they will give you any info.

No but person to person transfers will likely work. As long as you link with your personal account from another bank. I did this it posted as ACH (DD)?and I got the $500 bonus a week after my DD. Opened online and live in CT.
