Agree that list price is inflated, but CR gave this model a Good overall rating with a 62 score. The Amazon price at the time of their review was $40.88, so the OP's price is close to 40% less. Seems at least kinda slick to me.

Also, CR gave this model a Very Good rating for carpets, a Good rating for bare floors and a Very Good rating for Noise (some of these handheld vacs can be really noisy).

So, at less than $25, not a bad deal.

According to Rufus (Amazon AI):

Reviews are mixed. While some customers appreciate the compact design and long battery life, others are disappointed with the suction power. Several mention it does not pick up debris well.

Very helpful, thanks. I personally rate Noise as the noisier the better. Makes me feel like things are getting cleaner!

The selling point is that they made it from trash? I feel like I should buy a second mi vac.. it's a gorgeous design, works like new four years later.. not made from trash.

I have a Brigii M2 that looks about the same as that Mi mini vacuum except that it can blow air out the end. I use it to clean my coffee grinder.

It seems they cared more about making sure it was made from recycled plastics, than building a great handheld vacuum. Recycling is nice and all, but it shouldn't be the #1 selling point.

Look, if you need one of these, Walmart's price is the best I've found!

For example, compare to Home Depot [homedepot.com] at $44.19 and Ace Hardware [acehardware.com] at $49.99.

Have BISSELL AeroSlim $34 for the same purpose. Have it stationed at my coffee bar https://a.co/d/68FKwKL. Works great for its purpose.

I need another mini portable vac to pickup lint from my all in one washer dryer samsung bespoke. Lot of lint on the lint trap with this model and could use a vac to get some of it out.

This is an 8v vacuum. It's good for small clean-ups like a desk, cereal, or anything easily picked up. This won't do as a car vacuum. It would barely pick up any dirt on the carpet or seats.

If you need one for a car I suggest a B+D Dustbuster 20v that uses a power tool battery, you can use an adapter with any brand of battery you have. I bought two of them for my cars and it is so convenient to use so I bought a 3rd one to keep in the house to clean up a small mess. It's going for the regular price of $35 on Amazon for tool only.

I don't like the idea of an internal battery vacuum. The vacuum will shut off in the middle of cleaning and you have to wait for it to recharge. Either get a corded one or get an external battery one.

There is no cyclone dust separator before the filter. Every handheld like this works ok for the first 30 seconds with a clean filter then the suction drops off.
