Good price. Said it was 120 on prime day if someone was looking for it that time. Might be the same come November sale rituals.

Similar to other Fluke meters, biggest difference is the current meter is very sensitive but limited to 600uA.

I'm not very familiar with specific Fluke models, but looks like many are pretty well discounted, like ~25%-50% off

Yes, this is very much overkill for home use... Unless you specifically need some of these features.

A home owner needs reliable and accurate readings. My Commercial Electric brand meter was going bad on me recently, making it very difficult to diagnose an AC and a breaker panel issue.

I was pretty sure from the AC symptoms at a rental that the capacitor was bad, but the meter was giving me numbers all over the place. Brought it home and was able to confirm with a different meter that the capacitor actually was bad.

Friend's whole house electric was acting funny and my CE meter was sometimes reading 50 volts at the breakers. That was a head scratcher until I pulled out another meter that gave me consistent and accurate readings and then was able to fix the connections that were bad.

Would you bet your safety on cheap China stuff with a most likely faked safety rating? What's CAT II 500V? It's usually 150/300/600/1000. Why is it only listing IEC 61010-1 and not 61010-2-030? I wouldn't use any meter on mains without at least CAT III 600V rating.

To the experts here... Will this multimeter tell me in-rush current? I've been trying to determine the startup surge of my portable air conditioner. Is there a simple way to calculate it, or is there an inexpensive instrument that I could use?

I bought a solar power generator with a 4k watt surge capacity but my portable AC unit trips the breaker every time. Maybe is there a device you recommend to lower the surge so that I can power my AC unit off this generator?
