Great watch and a decent deal. But I expect we will see more like this because they now have the Fenix 8 and this is the non-pro version so it's now two generations old.

Love this watch. This deal is only $50 more than the best price ever (back on Prime Day), but still a really good price. I upgraded from a Fenix 5 Plus Titanium (2nd gen) and this watch is so much better.

Definitely want to turn off the AOD, as it does eat battery. But the turn wrist to look at the face always turns it on.

Only bad thing about this watch - when you turn always, you'll have to charge it every 1,5-2 week instead of 4

I can't believe anyone can live with that experience. I tried it and immediately turned it back to always on. The wrist flick is so hit or miss for me

What's Garmin phone number, I can't find on their website. I would like to get it from them instead Amazon, the slate steel color instead titanium white, which again can't select on their website.

Same here. Works great. Give Garmin a call. Maybe your sensor is bad.

I got this watch on Prime day and for the most part love it. I have to say that the battery life is nowhere near what you have stated (and is one of the main reasons I switched from Apple). Note that I am NOT using the always on display. Was recently on a 7 day camping trip where I had no cell service for the most part, learned that certain features/functions (i.e., Tides) rely on an functioning cell connection via mobile phone. I used my watch to track at least one activity every day (Surf, mountain bike, stand up paddle), and the battery died on the 6th day of my trip (had to go to battery save mode). I'm now back to civilization with active cell/wifi, and I'm now at day 9 (did not track activities every day), and my battery is at 8%. I do find that the wrist flick needed to turn the display on is a bit hit or miss. If the watch band is a bit loose, it's more of a miss and I need to tap the screen to activate it. Also find the sleep tracking quite a bit off from how I actually feel after a good or bad night's sleep. Overall pretty happy with the watch.

GPS locator usually kills the battery. Also, get the 51MM if you can wear it, huge difference in battery life.

Figured that about GPS, will bring my charging cable next time. AFAIK, this model only avail in 47mm. At my age, still need reading glasses to see some of the screens/details, so a larger screen would be nice. Find that the titanium keeps the watch pretty light, so it doesn't feel heavy at all.
