On the Costco site, it says includes mounting and also cable concealment.

Actually... they are the same... and are first gen 2024 models. "N" in the model # denotes 2024. The TVs are the same... just different remotes. The 100U76N (Reg. Retail Version) released in Jan. 2024 with a 2023 remote control. The 100U70N (Warehouse/Costco Version) released a few months later with with the newer 2024 remote control. Costco/Warehouse versions usually have a slightly different model # to deter price matching.
Compare the attached spec sheet from Costco...

with the spec link in the Resources Section in the attached Hisense link...

SAME!
One should buy the biggest TV s/he can afford. Period.

not sold at my store. Online it has free delivery and installation for $200 more. Might be worth it, it's a pain to get up there. Should have three people at least.

Installation is not mounting. They will just install tv stand (tv legs) and keep it on table top, not mount on wall

Idea of a 100" tv over a projector is really inticing, but I'm sitting here wondering if the extra 15" over a 85" is worth it. Anyone who moved up from an 85" and able to speak to that?

I am moving from a 120inch projector to a 100inch TV. I think it's a good common ground.

I had an 85" Sony and I moved that upstairs to my daughter's room and got this TV when Best Buy had it for $2k including installation. I'm glad I did it. If it were much more than what I paid for it, I probably wouldn't have swapped them, but at that price I had to. And the picture is way better than I anticipated. I have a projector in my bedroom that's set up to about 120" but we rarely use it anymore since buying this TV. Hopefully it will last a while. I wasn't sure about the reliability of Hisense, but so far so good. If you're mounting it, I'd pay the extra to have someone else mount it. It's a beast. Way more so than the 85" Sony it replaced. Good luck.

I did. Im liking it so far.

I moved up from a Vizio 85 Quantum-X P series, and I agree with everything mganderson76 and califfornia83 said.

I do kind of wish that Hisense shared some of Vizio's design language though; with regard to the frame. The Vizio feels more streamlined and future/ forward.

It's almost 40% more total area. I'd say it's definitely worth it

This is not the same as BestBuy model - BestBuy has latest U76N and this one is previous-gen U70N
