I looked into one of these before getting my previous gorilla cart, and the basic verdict seemed to be that they're not as good for heavy lawn cart duties, they hold SIGNIFICANTLY less, and the main use is if you need a hand truck that can double as a small wheelbarrow… but they're harder to maneuver as a wheelbarrow due to the wheel design than either a gorilla cart or actual wheelbarrow, and keeping them at a low enough angle as a wheelbarrow is rough if you're not quite short. The blade design also had complaints at the time when loading it heavily, so they weren't even a good replacement for a heavier duty hand truck.

If your main use is light gardening where you use this like a cart to hold a single bag of soil and some flowers while planting, and sometimes you need a hand truck for some not overly heavy things, this is probably perfect for you.

If you envision moving cubic yards of gravel/concrete/etc around, and you need a hand truck that can stand up to moving a couple hundred plus pounds frequently… maybe not the best choice, unless it's improved in the past couple years.

My conclusion at the time was that for the money and for heavy vs light usage, you're better off getting a (even just plain) hand truck and a gorilla cart, even if you end up spending more, unless you really have no room for them both. Personally I just got in one of the Northern Tool 3-in-1 hand trucks for our business and couldn't be happier, I just need to get a gorilla cart again now (gifted away the last while moving since… easy enough to just rebuy when needing it again)

At the risk of sounding really negative, this looks like a kitchen sink mounted to a hand truck. It seems to me that in order to use the stainless storage part, you'd have to carry the hand truck so low that it would hurt your back… but I haven't used one, so this is just a quick observation.

This right here.

I've owned this stupid thing for almost 10 years. I'm not a fan of it, but its not broken yet, so I'm stuck with it for now. The rotation mechanism WILL fail eventually for the "legs" on the bottom. Haven't been able to collapse the thing for the better part of 6-7 years now. The hand truck fold down mechanism is built solid, and swift mallet bonk has always loosened it up to be rotatable, no problem.

I know many don't appreciate the 2 wheel front mechanism, but, it's been nice to be able to have the kids that aren't teenagers be able to easily fill this up (with almost no chance of tipping it over), and not have to come get me to move the dirt, because you literally can't fit more than a 10 year old is capable of lifting.

So, do I love it? No. Do I hate it? Yes, but its working for my stage of life and our project load. Is it worth $160? I guess. For what it offers as a wheelbarrow, it's worth $99. You're paying $60 for a dolly DLC that you can't avoid.

Would not recommend. I bought one because I have a small steep yard where some areas are only accessible by stairs. I thought this might do stairs easier than a wheelbarrow (it sort of does). This rusted in about a year of light use. Fortunately they send me another under warranty but I had to pay $30 shipping.

Haha I was about to post the same thing. Looks like a kitchen sink on a dolly.

In for 1 via Amazon. Like that it is metal and solid wheels. The foam on the handles will probably be the first things to go. Anyone know if it'll hold those big paper leaf bags (they just show plastic bag being held)?

Mine is 7 years old, I don't care much about it and leave it uncovered in a corner of my yard. Some rust but still works. I will say the plant holder straps are surprisingly helpful at moving large potted plants. Plants that would generally require 2 people to lift safely. I'm pretty confident in lifting heavy things beyond my body weight in the gym, but I'd hurt myself lifting some of the plant pots that this has helped with. It's the only reason I've kept this thing around.

It sure seems like Best Buy has an identity crisis as of late.

Mine rusted a hole in the lowest part of it after a year and a half or so. Very little use, only yard waste and no rocks or gravel, so I believe it was purely manufacturer defect. I welded some replacement metal and repaint it so it'll probably be fine but disappointed with it overall.
