This is a fun game. My kids and I played a bit. Also the other game by this publisher is great with space bot pirates.

If you haven't played this game yet, jump in now. So fun to play and almost tailor built for the switch portable screen. Can be beaten in as little as four hours, but played much longer if you want. Maps are randomly generated except for a few specific parts. So the game is different every time you play it.

Not just a second game, there's a whole franchise; SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Heist, SteamWorld Quest, SteamWorld Build, and a few sequels lined up for each in the series, although worth noting, Dig are the only Metroidvania style games in the franchise.

Great game. Don't rush the ending. It is unfortunately abrupt. Exploring the world, finding secrets, and incrementally unlocking abilities and buffs is where this game shines.
