I wear the F105-W daily which is a successor to this F91W. The backlight is a noticeable improvement and is actually usable. It went from a dim orange color to a bright cyan color. So I would highly recommend the F105W instead of this.

The watch is definitely on the smaller side which is great for my smaller wrists.

This is the definition of a utilitarian watch. I was tired of having notifications and having to charge my watch. This thing stays on my wrist for years at a time and I pay no extra thought to it other than taking a look at the time. I wear it while sleeping, showering, working on cars no problem. At year 3 the band broke so I bought another so I would have spare parts around. It's nice having something you don't have to pay extra thought about getting scratched/stolen/charging. It won't win any fashion awards, but that's not its goal.

Several YouTube reviews on the Casio F91W, I was especially fascinated with the durability testing, given I was looking for cheap waterproof watches for my kids. Tl;dr: they're nigh-on indestructible; will take some serious beating and keep on ticking. They've been subjected to freezing, boiling, running over with a car, hammering, I even saw one guy burn it with a torch in his garage and even while melted (he stopped before complete immolation) it was telling time. The bands are just OK; my kids developed a little bit of rash under them until I replaced them with some NATO straps, now all is well. Highly recommended watch if you're keen on a durable inexpensive watch that'll outlast any smartwatch on the market by years and years, and may well outlive you.

These are great practical watches. I have several varying casio. Currently wearing the calculator watch (CA53W) although I often forget and end up using the calculator on my phone.
My personal favorite is the A700W (replace the metal band that pulls hair) as its casing is so slim.
