I had no idea these existed or that I've need one or 20 until now.

Any reviews comparing the top models you guys suggest?

There are hundreds of handhelds out there now.
Probably good enough if you buy one that has a good price, some kind of active community, the form factor you like, and supports the consoles you want to play.

Buyer beware with AliE. I bought from them for years but my last 2 orders were not delivered, had to file a dispute. Got refunds on both now but would rather have gotten my orders.

These were both $90 just about a year ago when they were released. I have too many of these and am really trying to convince myself not to bite lol. If I had to choose one, so far it'd be the X55 for the larger screen. If either were 4:3 aspect ratio, I'd go for that.

I have this and this and havent really felt the need to get any other sub $100 handhelds. PSP and N64 run ok, but some games need to be tweaked with a few that are unplayable. I have Rocknix installed and the optimizations help. The screen is really nice, and the speakers sound pretty good compared to other devices. Only thing i dislike about this device is the body feels cheap, and buttons are clicky. But it has held up being in my pocket and tossed around.

I agree. It's easy to get carried away with these retro handheld devices, but the x55 is all I need. It's a fantastic value at this price.

If anyone has this, do you know how well it works with moonlight streaming (ex:sunshine at 720p60)

I've seen mixed opinions. Some say it's a good option because it has 5Ghz WiFi but others say there is a bit of stuttering.
