I get that they remove all or part of the sale price when you use a trade in. I just think it is dumb and a rip off

This phone isn't selling. They literally just ended the 1TB deal for the Navy and Pink and now the same deal is available, or close to it on the more desirable Black or White models but only 512GB models. Samsung is playing games at this point and I'm going to keep holding out. I don't need the phone so bring on the next deal. $1000< or bust and 512GB or higher on the storage. I'm confident we will see it.

I was waiting to see if the CB site changes the % after midnight EST. CB % didn't change but Samsung updated the employee discount after midnight EST. My total went up. Oh well. I will wait for the next sale.

Yeah samsung math is always in samsungs favor to get your attention.

With trade ins, it takes the total off msrp, then the EPP discount is a percent off calculated after. So it displays your epp price as a % off $1899 with no trade in ($1237). The trade in comes out of msrp first (1899-1200=699), then any other smaller discounts, then your epp % comes off that for $337.49.

Also there is a Fold 6 Ultra/a newer model is going to release soon. However rumors are this new updated Fold 6 might be only release in Asia. Just FYI.

Yup my price jumps to $582 on the final page. The education discount seems to reduce for some reason.

Too much. 8gen4 will kill it in efficiency and is built around AI acceleration. 8gen3 was a regression from 8gen2 under load. Probably worth waiting for Samsung to improve the folding tech and figure out how to make larger batteries.

You can make it work for you though. I bought a z fold 3 last year used for $400 to replace my pixel 7. Used it for almost a year, then traded it in at Samsung and got almost $1,200 off my Z fold 6 with double the storage. I can't complain Wink
