The 2022 Roku Ultra is the only Roku device so far that supports AV1 decoding. It's gonna make it more future proof, and make YouTube smoother today.

We have a few Ultra and love them. They're super reliable. We wish they had an audio-out (analog or digital) port so I can send the audio from the unit to the mixer directly instead of routing the audio from the TV to the mixer (bose T4S).

Does anyone know a good video streaming unit with built-in YouTube and high-res audio out port?

You're correct. Sorry. A couple of days ago I got an email from Roku. The 2rd Ed in that tab was originally $99. Roku must have changed the price and I never refreshed the tab.

It do now also see it's on back order.

Does anyone know if this model can control the audio on a AVR/Processor? I have an older Roku that does control the audio on my Marantz Processor. I moved a Roku Ultra I was no longer using in my bedroom to the room with the Marantz Processor and it does not control the volume on the Marantz. Does this model have that ability? I don't understand why Roku removed that feature. I can't be the only person that uses an AVR/Processor with a Roku.

Tivo Stream 4k is the answer as long as you're OK with an android based interface. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with the interface, it's just different than roku


Only issue is no AV1 support and you can only use one remote, but I'd probably by a new one if they added AV1 support, and my Logitech harmony is compatible with it
