It looks like Target is clearing out their brand of protein powder (Market Pantry)

They do not offer shipping or store pickup, but I have found that inventory levels are usually pretty accurate for what is on the shelf.

$16.99 for 32 ounces
$.53 per ounce.

25G Protein, no added sugars

CHOCOLATE: https://www.target.com/p/whey-pro...nk=sametab
VANILLA: https://www.target.com/p/whey-pro...nk=sametab

Price isn't bad, but at 0.15625 grams of protein per calorie it's not the most efficient source of protein.

I am new to the protein game (nutritionist told me I needed to start 2 servings per day). What should I go with that is cheaper? I would prefer no added sugar and as few artificial flavorings as possible.

1 serving is mixed with oatmeal and doesn't need any flavor, I currently use some pea protein.

Other one will probably be mixed with water or ice for a slush drink each evening.

You need about 1 gram of protein from any source per lb. 150lbs? 150grams a day.

Roughly.

Make protein your priority in your diet, first.

This only applies to muscle building and at MAXIMUM. Most people for standard healthy eating would 100% be overdoing it with that much protein. I weigh 210 right now and eat anywhere from 150-200g a day and that's far more than enough to big gains.

Great deal OP. Went to my local Target and they had the chocolate discounted but not vanilla strangely but they were discounted down to $13.99 which is a steal. Ended up picking up 10. Should last me a few months.

Ditch the peanut butter. High calorie, not protein dense. Use PBFit if you want the taste.

Fairlife milk, lean cuts of meat, edamame (only bean is great). Greek yogurt is definitely the one -add some pudding mix or protein powder for a boost. Liquid egg whites are pure protein.

Actually, I need the oil/fat in PB. But, I also use PB powder for some cases.

Protein is protein, especially if it's whey. If you think certain wheys give you better gains or something, then their advertising has done it's job to get you to believe it.
