This is almost certainly a rebadged Huepar Box 1G, a very good laser for the money, and currently ~$44 with a 'clippable' -20% coupon.

From what I can tell by looking at both specifications and the overview, it seems the $90 one is 130' (20' less than this $70 one) but can do a 360 degree laser.

That seems to be the main benefit. Otherwise it seems to do the same thing with the same accuracy.

So if you have a use case where you want to have something level on more than one wall at a time, then the $90 one is better. Otherwise, this $70 one will do.

Another reason you might want the 360° unit ($90) is not for the full 360° but for 180°. Say you have a 40' wall you can set this $70 one up at one end and get an intense line on the near end and a viable but >1/8" tolerance on the far end. The 360° unit can be setup just a few feet back from the middle and will produce better than 1/8" resolution at both ends. Moreover it gives you lots of flexibility since you aren't limited by the angular width of the beam.

Any good? How does this compare to a $10 off Amazon?

Nice! Thank you.

I already have a Bosch laser level I got years ago but it's not self leveling and has always been a pain to set up. I bet this one will come in handy for an upcoming backsplash project I have.

Green one is a 360 degree laser, so that's a different product.

Can anyone recommend a decent tripod for the level?

says "360", but that ain't how 360º works... it's just a 180° crossline level, like the Kobalt in this deal and the green Huepar one linked.

this would be a 360 version of the Huepar (which appears to have like 10 variants of nonsense on Amazon, so here's a Lowe's link)

Yeah this is identical to my Huepar which is NOT 360 just 180 but works great. I use it for literally every construction / hanging project. If you don't have a laser level you are missing out on life.

So which you would recommend?
