So I tried "CrazyLegion" on this 2 days ago and got $1,639, but later that day the PC became "Available soon".

Now when I try "CrazyLegion" it is $1,599. Also, the SD auto coupon apply seems to have skipped right over CrazyLegion and applied some BenKaiser code. So, be aware that might be broken.

Overall, this seems like a solid deal. Memory may come running at 4000mhz out of the box, but it comes with either 4800mhz or 5600mhz sticks of ddr5 and various reviews confirm you'll have to adjust some settings to get it to run at their capable speeds (there is a 1-star review that states "you will never get your memory to run at 5600mhz" but the numerous 4-5 star reviews seem to have figured it out.

Decent deal, but the Intel processor is making me pause.

There's a reason these deals are almost all paired with Intel chips and not AMD....

Coupon case matters and it needs to be entered with all caps "CRAZYLEGION"

I recently ordered the Legion Tower 5 Gen 8 (AMD) with RTX 4070 Ti Super from Lenovo. The machine looks great but one thing that bothers me a lot is that when I play games, my Bose speaker that's connected to the 3.5mm headphone jack makes buzzing noise. This noise persists even when I mute Windows altogether or disable the sound card.

I tried plugging into the 3.5mm jack with my Bose noise cancelling headphone and the problem remains. I tried with a USB to 3.5mm converter and the noise is even worse. The noise isn't there when I use bluetooth headphones.

I'm quite disappointed by this. Otherwise it's a decent machine.

Sounds like a problem I had a few months ago. It was happening when I connected my headphones to the front 3.5mm port.

Make sure the cable is connected all the way in. It's only friction fitted, so you won't hear any clicks when you press it in. Mine was super loose

That sucks, but there are dongles (that take up a USB slot) that have a 3.5mm jack and are really cheap (I recall getting one for $5 that worked well). Had to use one when I got a headphone cable stuck in the jack (that broke off in it when the laptop fell from playing on a small foldable table).

This deal needs more details in the description. Someone else thankfully mentioned the memory...

thank you

so very tempted, but I'm thinking I can wait til the end of the year.

my current desktop is a Lenovo Legion and I've loved it for 4 1/2 years, but I'd love to see a great deal on an HP OMEN L45 by the end of the year.

Why not pair the headphones over BT? If the BT module doesn't support AptX or LDAC (or whatever BT codec flavor your Bose headphone use), you can always snag a chap BT USB nubbin from the 'zon for like $10 bucks.

I also got a replacement unit. Same issue and my Black Myth Wukong games crashes 2 times within a few mins of testing...

That's what I'm doing now. But it just doesn't feel good that I need to do this on a brand new PC. Still debating whether to return it
