Agreed. My Gram is on the way from a previous deal.
The way I understand it. The on board ARC graphics are supposed to be a good jump up from the previous Iris graphics, and close to the AMD ryzen chips. And those are in basically all the GAMING Handhelds... Which means, yes they can game.
You won't be running the latest big budget titles at max settings. But you should comfortably be able to play Skyrim, gta5, Counterstrike, e-sports titles etc.
And emulation if you're a fan of the classics, should run great!
Plenty of gaming to be had on productivity machines.

A little more info for your NO would nice. What Arc is in this thing? All it says is Arc graphics and there's like 8 of those. Hell, if it's the A770, that's a pretty badass GPU and the CPU, though really made for productivity, still have some guts to it.

Anyway, just sick of responses like this with no reasoning or explaintion behind them. People ask, because they don't know, not to be more confused by halfassed comments.

Minor rant over,

It's hard to find the info of does anybody know if this model has a matte display? And what the nits are also if the RAM is soldered or at least expandable. This seems like a really good deal

Don't forget the 3% CB and 10% coupon LG offers for new text subscribers, then just type STOP after getting coupon. Under 1k with taxes for laptop and screen is not bad.

Interested in just the portable monitor since I already have the 16" version of this laptop if anyone is looking to get in on this deal.

Thanks I appreciate that. Real quick do you know if it's a matte display or glossy and where did you find the details? When I googled it a whole bunch of different build options came back

Thanks. I'm in for 1. Got a 10% off code by pretending to close the window before order completion. Total is $899.99. thanks OP. Also Unsure if 12% cb on a big site will track.

Does this laptop have cooling issues or electronic noise/buzz?

It will be fine for mild gaming. Definitely not a gaming laptop but it should have no problem running even newer stuff at medium to low-ish settings.

Can somebody comment on how does 16GB of LPDDR5 type of RAM compare to 32GB of traditional RAM?

have the previous version... excellent laptop.. the fact its 17" helps with ventilation.. mine never overheats

i'd suggest get the version with touchscreen... only 0.2 lb more but you get alot more versatility
