I actually think for most people who can afford to travel to Africa or Dubai, it is probably worth paying for business at these prices.

They simply are not empowered to resolve any kind of issue that they don't have written in a manual.
I've had some crazy experiences from them canceling a route , but saying they would not refund me and instead I had to drive to another airport they served 3 hours away to their IT team who is still unable to explain why I can login to my ffp account in my phone but not on any desktop computer.
End rant on Etihad and Qatar
