It is very unlikely that the deals are going to get much better than this during Black Friday. It will be better, but not much better. Lenovo machines are awesome.

Alienware R16 deal was much better, 4070 ti Super vs regular Super, faster ram, liquid cooling vs air, plus if you had amex and/or chase offers plus 10% CB at the time, it could've potentially been had for only 1200 something which was a steal. https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/993585
Oh and don't forget the case which also doubles as a furnace.

For what?
Black Friday/Cyber Monday less than 2 months away, as well as 5000 series next gen Nvidia graphics being announced soon.

All signs point to WAIT.

I normally build my own, and by "normally" I mean once every decade (current PC is from 2013). Could I even build a decent rig with Windows for this cheap? I don't care about RGB, in fact, I'll turn all lights off. I have very few parts in my current PC that I could salvage, so it's basically a clean slate.

Lenovo is better than other companies when it comes to cooling. Alienware builds lately seem more like reactors during summer and warmer months.

I don't think BF will matter much, it has not trended well the past few years, a new series of cards will bump prices down, but does the 5070 even release this year? I thought it was just the 5080 & 90 releasing in 24?
