I have 5 such junk laptops in my house that were purchased over the years and broken in short time . Please don't waste money on these things .. u will either keep them as show piece at home or throw them away in no time ..

I have a pair of these from previous Walmart deals and can confirm the charging issue. Both of mine developed problems within a year. I eventually took out the batteries from both laptops and replaced the AC adapter for one of them.
