That said, campground campers PLEASE LEAVE THEM HOME home when you go camping in a campground. Boondocking, fine, whatever. But if you're in a rustic, no power, no flush toilets forest service campground with lots of tent campers, please show some restraint. And if you absolutely have to turn it on (I dunno, maybe you need to charge your cpap battery?), do it for like an hour max.
I was just camping over the weekend and someone had this brand and was proud of it. They spent the whole weekend inside their trailer (beautiful weather, low 70s, no bugs!) and ran this nearly nonstop. Why?
I know it says only 57db, but there's more to it than just volume. At least in a natural setting. Close to it, it seemed quietish on the surface but we were aware of it running all over the campground. Even 20 feet from a loud mountain stream, you could sense the drone. Would it bother me in my neighborhood if I knew people were without power? Heck no. But in the woods? Skip it.
Thank you for listening to my rant.
Nice find.

I got one but haven't hard to use it yet outside of just running it to test it. Just curious. Seems like a super solid no brainer buy for the emergency use scenario.
At this price like someone else said... just saving the food in your refrigerator / Freezer 1 time and it could pays for itself.
Generally though they must at least be the same brand and ideally the same model. The two will communicate to synchronize AC output, so it could be that 2 different brands would work together (the connections are generally universal) but it also could be that they'd nuke each other.
For some generators you need a special kit:

Not sure that's the exact model you'd need but it's at least representative.
Some can just basically be wired together:

My guess it the vast majority of refurbing is carb related or extreme cases where stator was replaced (?)
Also, what is the "F" designation in the model number? Google returned no results for WH03242F - is that a "rebuilt" designation maybe?

Their customer support told me all refurbs will have under 100 hours of use. I believe they reset the hour meter before shipment as well.
Short versions. I bought one previously. Mine looked basically new. Runs like a champ. Love that it runs off of propane. It was "cheap insurance" for me since my power has yet to go out now. Isn't that how it always works.
Never found a cheap stand alone charger for the battery. I know someone posted an adapter they use for their battery tender but you need to have one of those too in that scenario.
The clip on the propane attachment broke on mine, but I assume a kid knocked into it with their bike in the garage and not the fault of the product.
If you need a generator. BUY IT.
I'd be tempted by a 240v inverting genset, but of course those are more costly.
Here's where I look to find exactly the specs that suit my needs.

The generator itself (bought mine refurbished thru Firman direct) got me thru Debby this year modified to run off natural gas per a youtube video. Worked great for 36 hrs straight powering essential refrigerators, lights, etc.
