Same thing since the beginning of time..trends. Example - For decades, Champion was the poor kid's clothes, then suddenly they became trendy. Wearing clothes with brands/logos all over it was trendy, now it's not. Kids care about what is perceived as 'cool' to fit in/not get bullied. Once you're out of school and grow up, -most- people realize that you shouldn't give a sh!t what others think and just wear/buy what works for you.

This UA Undeniable Sack is undeniably the best one you can get. The sash is incredibly sturdy, and the ripstop (?) material of the main body can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Even the brim holes, where the sash comes through for adjustments, have held up despite the heavy loads I've carried, like groceries. I bought these from UA during major sales a few months ago with deep discounts (what happened to UA lately? I haven't seen those big sales recently). I may have gotten them for an even lower price back then. I usually prefer black, but the navy is nice too—and at this price, it's definitely worth it.

My guess is that you can't bring this into a sports venue because of the zipper on it? If it just had the opening that would be fine, right? Because I know security doesn't want to go looking into separate compartments.

If that's the case, I don't see what the point of this is when a backpack does the same thing, but is much more durable, has more capacity, and more compartments.

The UA demographics used to be 11-14 yo kids. They don't want anything to do with this brand anymore. So, if you are a grownup and don't care, then it is ok but do not force this on a child, please!!!!!

P.S. Speaking from experience.

I'll tell you my kid loves wearing UA, specifically because it's association with Steph Curry.

Speaking from experience.

So don't assume because your kid doesn't wear, someone else's doesn't think it's cool

Still popular in our middle school. My 7th grader picked out this specific bag over the sumemr and wears UA hoodies, shorts, etc.

For the question of why not a backpack? This is lighter weight and takes up less room than the most. The straps, while they would hurt if you put a on of weight in it, also are nice that they aren't wide and leave sweat marks when it is hot out. We took it to a theme park and it was helpful and a backpack would have been too big.

Kids should be happy that parents buy them a bag instead of b**ching about this and that.

I just checked the NFL's policy. They only allow clear backpacks/sackbags/cinchbags/drawstring bag/etc. The item in this thread is a drawstring bag/sackbag/cinchbag. That policy is for ALL NFL stadiums.
https://www.nfl.com/legal/clear-bag-policy

MLB seems to be different.Citifield says and shows you can bring a drawstring bag/sackbag/cinchbag but they don't want any compartments on it.
https://www.mlb.com/mets/ballpark...bag-policy

I can clearly remember going into an MLB game with someone who had a drawstring bag (no zipper compartments). So it looks like that is still true. The NFL is real strict though. Probably because NFL stadiums can be massive. Some are 80,000+ fans vs 40,000+ at an MLB game. So going through bags is a big time waste for everyone trying to get into the stadium.

Who said I assumed anything? UA is still worn where I am from. Trends vary in every state, town, school. It's just reasoning why one kid or person may no longer affiliate with a brand.
