Lots of bits and the wrenches are tiny...decent set I guess if you have no tools. But there is no storage included, so you'll need socket holders and a toolbox.

175 screwdriver bits.... Yikes. Too bad it isn't 175 10mm sockets as filler.

Perfect timing, my old set is falling apart. This should last me years.

besides the terrible amount of bit sets, you will need to spend another 100 for the storage....

Why do you think this requires spending $100 for a toolbox? I'd spend a few bucks on socket organizer rails (super cheap but usable at Harbor Freight) but otherwise you could literally use anything you want. You don't need a fancy Milwaukee Packout system.

If you consider a lot of this stuff to be throw-ins or filler (I like see all the torx drivers personally - not something that gets used all the time, but we you need them you really need them), I sort of compare prices on sets like this by the number of sockets. Almost 150 sockets for $99 is pretty good. It's lacking in 1/2" sockets but is pretty complete in terms of 3/8" and 1/4".

If you must have an included case, this 277 piece set [lowes.com] is the same price and has a decent-looking box with drawers. 100 fewer bits is the biggest difference, and it has less sockets, especially deep, and zero socket reducer/enlarger adaptors, which is weird, but comes with a pretty good selection. In stock in some stores, including locally for me. Both sets are a good value.

I don't know why they need to combine SAE and metric together in one set. Too much bulk and redundancy. Is there a decent set that is metric only?

Seems ok. The 1/2 drive is kind of useless. It's all a repeat of the 3/8th drive sockets. The spread of deep sockets across 1/4 and 3/8 is good. The inclusion of torx sockets is also good. The bit drivers and hex keys are also decent if you don't have them. Overall not bad but the lack of storage, almost useless stubby wrenches and useless 1/2 make is more like a decent vs great deal.
