Could someone please confirm #2 "You can cancel the service after the first month and it will still be unlocked."? Thanks! After the first month, then we will be charged for two months which will be $100 ?

This has been mentioned and confirmed in every Verizon and Verizon MVNO post.
The only issue on this post is that Total Wireless is Verizon, not T-Mobile.

My bad. I mean you can only pay for the first month service and your phone can will be automatically unlocked, because unlocking is based on activation. You can cancel your plan anytime and not paying for the 2nd month.
