These seem to be designed more for can/recessed lights. Does anyone have experience using the BR30s in a regular lamp? This price looks really good.

They are more directional, so not great for regular lights. If you follow the coupon link in the original post, there are other options for different 75W A19 bulbs.

The light will go up rather than around. A better option is getting something like these https://www.homedepot.com/p/Feit-.../314017091 and then using them as uplighting in a room. Place on the floor in corners of the room or behind couches, plants, or tables to create more dramatic and indirect lighting.

The BR30 White Ambience 2-pack is on clearance at Lowes for $12.xx.
They also had strip light extensions and regular 40/60W Hue light bulbs on clearance.
Posting for anyone who might have a Lowe's nearby and is in need of the White bulbs.
