How much do you expect for a non-carrier promotion for a 4-year old base model phone?

AT&T & T-Mobile offer $1K value for iPhone 12 with their premium plans. Many are buying it for trading in with their carrier. Already got a 12 from Metro last deal, which was $50 more.

Keeping my current phones (13 and higher) as spares so I can trade these in instead for less.

If you don't auto-pay or extend service, there is nothing to cancel. You just stop paying. Based on what I have read, device should auto unlock after 12 months from activation and continued service is not required.

The SE3 has an A15 SoC while this phone has an A14 SoC, but it does have an additional gigabyte of RAM. Besides the performance difference, it also means that the iPhone 12 will have one less year of support than your SE3.

No, TotalWireless phones will get unlocked automatically after 60 days, Metro is 365 days.

It isn't automatically enrolled in any autopay right? We just pay for the service and get the phone for free & when the service ends, that's it? Thanks OP!

Paying 15$ per month for unlimited everything (visible).

But, that's not the point. You're getting an iPhone 12 (with official trade in value of 180$) for 0$ (75$ for service)

You can cancel service after first month. Essentially 100$+ savings by all means even if you don't use one month service.

For a second line, you check out first line, pay 75 and the add an another iphone12 line for 35? So I need another number to get this done or will this just be a new number from metro?

Anyone know if it's possible to order this, then port the number from metro to visible in the first 30 days to take advantage of the $15 unlimited plan promo?

I was considering doing that and either using an RSIM to bypass carrier lock, or using my iPhone 11 that just recently unlocked from total by verizon.
