I'm 99% sure the dimensions should be listed at 2560x2440. I believe the typo from Amazon's website was automated to SD.

Friends don't decide for other friends what they find acceptable. Personally, I use a 27 inch 1080p and it's fine, especially since I don't watch high res content on it.

Unless your face is planted in the monitor, you can't see the individual pixels, and even 1440p at 27 is much less dense than on a laptop or tablet screen. Either way, there's a MSi Gaming Monitor with a faster refresh at this price.
