Lmao ok Tony montana
Tony Montana, huh? Nah, just trying to keep my small eCommerce business in check! Most of the cameras are pointed at packing tables - customers love to claim they got the wrong item or color, and chargebacks are a headache. Sometimes they claim that they received damaged item even though the shipping box was fine lol. The cameras help us show we packed it right the first time.

Actually legitimately makes sense, I stand corrected lol. Unless that's white gold you're selling ... Lol

If you need a tv for the garage or a camper.
... or a 2nd silent tv above your main tv, so to turn the living room into a 'family friendly sports bar'. Thanks OP

We are not that far from Black Friday, last year deal was 55" 4K TV for $150. I would suggest to wait unless you are in a rush

I had a 27" Insignia smart TV for about 5 years. Though it worked, it was crazy sluggish. Certain times, menus straight up refused to display. There's wasn't enough memory to keep playing whatever you're watching AND bring up the sleep timer screen. Sometimes it would do nothing, sometimes it would flash the menu and force close it instantly, sometimes it would work fine. lol

Totally agree. We bought this for my 90 year old mom and she could not use it. The UI is just bad. And it's laggy so its a two fer of hard to use. I swapped her to a Roku and no issues. We took the insignia, and ya it's sometimes hard to tell where you are and how to get somewhere.

I got it a few days ago to be put in front of my elliptical machine.
One thing I immediately love this TV is the weight. It feels like a large laptop. When I was assembling the two feet, I was able to hold the tv between my left hand and chin.

Completely agree.

Years back I purchased an Insignia Black Friday 42 inch tv and put it in the garage. No problems with antenna or chromecast.

Got a 2nd insignia tv, this time a Firetv about 2-3 years ago and it already has issues. Doesn't respond to other inputs, slow as shit on the Home screen. I'm waiting to replace it with something cheap as it's the tv in front of the treadmill.

Avoid Firetv software on tvs as much as possible.

Bought this two months ago for $110. Solid buy for an occasional-use TV. Be sure to turn off/down the sharpening and edge enhancement options if you're looking for a cleaner and more accurate image. Xbox SX, Switch, Steam Deck, Chromecast all work fine on here.

I don't care for the Smart TVs, as they add complexity (and advertisements) to a process that should be dead-simple: turn tv on, watch stuff. By default, with internet connect, it's turn it on, get fed an ad or three while waiting for an app to launch, then maybe the wifi radio will be strong enough to stream something without issue. Interestingly, every other device connected to this TV that can stream (such as the Xbox with Youtube, or Steam Deck when streaming from my main PC) did not have the poor connectivity issues, or internet drops.

So, connected it to the internet long enough to update the firmware per a suggestion at that time, then removed all network options. Now when I turn it on, it just asks what video input to use. Perfect, for my use-case, and for the price.

Grabbed one yesterday. Certainly not the thinnest tv in 2024, and it weighs almost nothing. Hope it lasts a while.
