I'd recommend you check out Ricky Impey series of the basics and intermediate knowledge for this.

Thanks! Do you feel like you've derived value from the device?

I know that I have. It was easy to install on my two printers. I can make on-the-fly adjustments. I can start printing from the comfort of my desk.

Definitely, while I definitely didn't take advantage of all the features from Klipper and this... I probably could've continue to use Octoprint on my raspberry pi. But the UI and first party integration is just a bit better for me.

For some reason I keep getting an error saying I've already used this coupon. (I haven't). Does anyone know of a workaround?

Is the discount already applied at checkout? Or are you still getting full price

It's coming up as the sale price. 99 dollars, but the extra 20%off won't apply.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I just installed a Bigtreetech motherboard in my Ender 3 Pro. Does this replace that as a controller, or supplement it?

Edit: I can see that now that it doesn't replace the controller. Does this essentially do a similar function to my Raspberry Pi, albeit significantly more powerful and feature rich?

Klipper essentially takes a lot of the work from the mainboard that you installed and moves it to another device. You can use your raspberry pi if you want, or this. Both are probably sufficiently overpowered for a simple ender. This has a touchscreen, which you could set up with a pi, but ymmv.

I'm a big fan of octoprint on a pi running klipper, but I will concede that the work setting all of that up is an issue for many. To be honest, I could take or leave klipper and use marlin again. I do really like starting prints from my computer.

I've had one for a few years. Biggest recommendation I can give is to do your research. Marketing makes this seem easy to use and promises to speed up printing. Lots of caveats there. This is a Creality device so it's going to work fine in some situations and be downright painful in others. This runs klipper, but it's a Creality version that has some limitations. If you have a modded printer, you might be trying to figure out how to make your printer work with near zero (creality) documentation unless someone else figures it out before you and posts in a forum. Thankfully Klipper does have decent documentation. You connect multiple printers to this at once, but only one camera will work with one printer. If you are using an Ender 3 V3 SE (LIkely other newer printers as well) you will need to buy a special serial cable to connect the printer to the sonicpad. Don't expect this to just plug in and work smoothly for most setups. it was simple for my ender 3 S1, but I've had significant hair pulling with newer and older printers. This is a relatively cheap and way to have klipper with a local touchscreen though.

How much faster does it print with klipper?

Was able to get the coupon to apply when I changed my payment type to something other than PayPal

As a guy with an original Ender3 pro with bl touch is this something I should consider adding? Right now I'm happy with the machine, the stock control screen is very laggy and am walking an forth with an sd card.
