I have been buying all these 'deal of week' candy offers- got Reese's Cups, Snickers, Blow Pops, and now Hershey. Stocking up for Halloween, as they end up being cheaper that the Sam's Club Big Halloween bags.
These Walgreens deals equal about 2¢ and once, where Sam's is 3-3.5¢ and once.
(Actually, if you 10% coupon as well, equals .17 an oz)

That was my plan too. I did the Reese deal and then didn't pick it up soon enough and my order was cancelled. Walgreens doesn't give you too many days before they do that. Now I am scrambling to figure out what to give for Halloween. Aren't these really little? I was excited to get the Reeses bats and pumpkins because I think they were a pretty big size. I don't want to be cheap with the kids. We do get around 100 kids though, lol.

These are small, but not as bad as those little Milky Way and Snickers squares.
Plus, I let kids pick two or three candies from the bowl.
I am hoping Walgreens keeps these going 'till Halloween. Wanna get KitKats and another sugar item (Sour Patch Kids or similar).
If you wanna get Recess at better prices than Sam's or Costco, Kroger(Mariano's, Safeway) usually has a good sale closer to Halloween, that can be made better with coupons.

Thanks, OP! Repped!....but you can't get 5 bags for $10. The coupon works in quantities of 2.

5 bags = $12.50, not $10.

Coupon states "unlimited use" (which is unusual). If the quantity that you want isn't available at one location, you can place orders at multiple locations (and the coupon will apply to each purchase).

Bear in mind that it's EXACTLY 72 hours (unfortunately) and not up until the end of the 3rd day. It should be until the end of the day, but their system cancels it automatically exactly 72 hours from when you placed the order. Kinda ridiculous!

No "snack size" candy is a "pretty big size". They're all pretty small.

Isn't it a bit early to feel as if you're "scrambling"? One trip to Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, or BJ's (depending upon where you live, but any of these choices will save you money), and you're done with your Halloween candy shopping!

I got an offsetting $2.50 (promos or coupon) underneath the $12.50 subtotal. My total is $10 for 5 bags.
