I will never understand why companies make power strips with sockets so close together. Have none of the designers ever seen an average adapter? You can probably use like 2-3 of them at a time max.

Or a plug that still sticks outwards, instead of a 90 degree one. Could be a UL requirement, not sure tho.

Get 12 outlets on one strip, and spaced apart!

This item is garbage
Reasons: 15 reviews, all but 1 say "This review was collected as part of a promotion"
Surge protection is only 450 joules, might as well be no protection (way too low)
Short 2' cord

No clamping voltages listed

This would be good only for lights/alarm clocks, or other low priced items

Phillips is cheap for a reason

Bit of advice, these should be considered very budget surge protection no matter what the cost. To even have a protection rating of 450J is pretty low. If you consider this more of a power strip, that's one thing. Just don't purchase this with the intention of keeping any important electronics safe.

Also, most people don't understand that with every surge that may go through a surge protector, it decreases the protection of that unit. After its protection capacity is used up, it will just be a power strip. Higher end surge protectors have indicator lights that remain green to tell you that the outlets are still protected and then turn red when that protection is used up so people actually know when it should be replaced. Because the rating on these cheap units is so low and because there is no indicator light to inform you if what you have plugged in to it is actually protected, I would caution buyers to be careful of what they choose to leave plugged in to these because it may or may not offer protection after a relatively short timeframe
