Pass. Using points for non-travel purchases is generally bad value, especially when you factor in how much spending and time it takes to build up 35k points.
This deal saves about $60. Might as well just wait a few more weeks for a straight $50 discount when retailers start doing pre-black friday sales.
Not too long ago Chase had 50% points boost, which is a way better deal if you cant wait for it again.
Unpopular comment here but if you utilize Chase's travel partners like Hyatt through Sapphire, you can routinely get 2-3X value versus this 1.15X value. Not really a deal IMO but to each their own

I argue give me a watch for 40k points that I use 18 hours a day for 3 years. Versus an 8 hour flight in business class. But if you want bragging rights how you got a 10k flight for 104k points, I get it.
However if you never fly then I can see the appear of business class. I can sleep anywhere, so business class is nice but not a must have for me.
I do enjoy redemptions for hotels, like when I got a week in the Maldives overwater bungalow for 124k Marriott points a couple years ago. However I get more value out of an iPad or watch than a hotel or flight.
Your logic is totally wrong…as many have stated, using chase points for anything other than travel is money lost.

It's just not business class. Being able to use these points for good value whether it's by transferring (to direct airline partners or flying clubs like avis/virgin with a bonus) , or simply booking through chase travel at 1.25x or 1.5x isn't that hard to come by

I offered my perspective and you are entitled to yours, but no need to make assumptions about why people use points for luxury traveling.
$350 cash purchase isn't going to make me broke that I can't just buy this with cash and save the points for my next trip.
Btw, for those who don't understand luxury travel, it has nothing to do with bragging rights for most people. I do it for having better or unique vacation experience where I wouldn't purchase if the same things costed thousands more in cash. Most people (including myself) are skeptical until they have tried it, then find it hard to go back to economy for long international flights. For example, flying biz class to Australia is a 16 hour flight, I land feeling rested, and ready to start exploring as opposed to economy where I start my trip with a ruined back from sitting in poorly reclined seats and then take a day or two to catch up on sleep.
How long it takes to build up 35k points??? That's like a third of an Ink sign up bonus, so about a week or two for me lol
True, but that means you are still pretty early in the signup bonus game. I got all the big bonuses already, so can't get anymore from Chase due to their sign up bonus rules. Need to wait a couple years for it to reset.
Nice... just cancelled my delayed Best Buy order and saved like $70. Obviously, using points at this redemption rate is stupid, so I paid in $ with my Chase card.
