Midwest. Had it in a ridiculous amount of snow 2 seasons back. Was awesome. Only choked once on some super wet and heavy (like out of the ordinary heavy) snow once at the end of the season, everything else it went through like butter. Last winter didn't really use it much due to not having much snow though.

Forgot to add, this would pair nicely with the $1200 eBay deal for the 60v riding lawn mower from a few weeks back. Between the 2, you'd have 6 batteries. This snow blower comes with 2, but has space for 3. 2 is plenty though, unless you have a huge driveway IMO

Really wish it was the 80v. Have many of those batteries, and the ability to swap is key for the cold weather.

Is this the norm to pay this much for a snow blower? Geez, I thought they were in the $300-$700 range. I was way off. I realize it comes with batteries, but still. Everything is so expensive now Frown

This is a 2 stage snow blower. Single stage snow blowers are cheaper. This one was about $1600 when it came out 2 years ago. The batteries alone sell for $600. This is a very good deal for a 2 stage snow blower. You only need more batteries than this comes with if you have a massive driveway

Agreed. The reason I said for GW to pick a voltage.

Remember to store lithium batteries inside during the colder winter months. Also only charge the battery when it's not hot. But newer and advanced chargers do have a automatic shutoff and resume charge feature if it's hot.

Its not greenworks pick your voltage. They did, they went 24v and 80v. All these in-between voltages are big box store specific. 60v is only sold at tractor supply. 40v was only sold at lowes.
